Pollution Free Diwali Campaign

Interact Club and Eco Club of KIIT World School held a campaign for Cracker Free Deepawali before going on Diwali break. Students enthusiastically undertook slogan writing and signature campaigns where all the students signed a pledge not to use fire crackers on Diwali. Students also pledged to spread awareness about hazards of crackers among their peers, family and neighborhood.

They also took out a rally along with other clubs as part of their SAY NO TO CRACKERS DRIVE where they tried to create awareness towards hazards of crackers around the areas adjacent to school and tried to convince people to abandon the use of crackers.

Students wrote famous quotes on Literacy on a sheet and decorated it in different ways.

Aid to Homeless (Class XI & XII)

The Interact club members initiated the noble concept which gave benefits to the poor children and AID TO HOMELESS people. Club members also revived their last Activity SAY NO TO POLY BAGS. Each member given with the duty inside the school premises to stop and not to allow students and teachers to use poly bags.

Group Dicussion on Corruption (XI & XII)

Students discussed the Burning issue of CORRUPTION . One of the student of class XII B Jai Kanduja voluntarily showed  Video related to it. Students discussed with the need of love for the mother country INDIA. Students were divided into 5 teams in which every member of the team contributed his thoughts against the evils of Corruption in this discussion.  Pooja Kaushik the student of class XII gave best presentation.

Slogan & Poetry Writing Competition XI & XII

‘MAA TUJHE SAALAM’ a slogan/poetry writing competition was conducted to highlight the respect of nation in the heart of club members.

100% participation by students of club members with full enthusiasm proved love for country in our young generation. Nikita Bassi of class XI C got first position in the competition.

Tree Plantation Drive (XI & XII)

Interact Club members held a  TREE PLANTATION DRIVE in the school premises on 5th August 2011. Each student adopted the plant planted by him and took a pledge to nurture. Students were really excited to be able to have contributed to the cause of environment protection.

Students wrote the quotations of famous writers and persons on a sheet in a very aesthetical manner.

Students made the logo of interact club which was followed by general quiz on day to day happening around the world and especially in India based on newspaper.

Students cut the different colored sheet into some shape and then made some drawing on it. After that they colored it and decorated it in different ways.Finally now bookmark was ready to be used by them in theirs books n all.

Poster making on WORLD POPULATION DAY.

There was a discussion on world population day. Followed by role play by some students and the rest of the class made posters on world population day.
